Best Times to Fish
In Victoria the best snapper months are from September until March.
In New South Wales, although good catches are taken throughout the whole
year, the best fishing is to be found during the months of May, June,
and July. While Coolangatta and Southport provide excellent snapper
fishing, as do spots along the southern coast of Queensland, few snapper
are caught north of the Mackay-Bowen area.
